
Morgantown, West Virginia – Multiple former Mountaineer football players have confirmed the untimely and unexpected passing of former West Virginia football player Kevin Williams.
Williams, a cornerback originally from Pompano Beach, Florida, played on the 2016-2018 Mountaineers team. After redshirting in 2015, Williams saw action in four games as a backup defense back and special teams player.
Although no official details of his death have been released, former teammates Terrell Chestnut, Marcus Simms and Elijah Battle, among many others, spoke out on social media about Williams’ death:
