Morgantown, West Virginia – Former West Virginia Mountaineers kicker/punter Pat McAfee is one of 129 modern-era nominees announced for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2023.
McAfee, 35, played for the Mountaineers from 2005 to 2008 and was a first-team All-American in 2008. After graduating from WVU, McAfee was a two-time Pro Bowl punter for the Indianapolis Colts.
The list of 129 nominees will be cut to 25 semifinalists in November and 15 finalists will be revealed in early January.
