Former WVU Commit Takes No Time in Finding New Home

Well, that didn’t take long.

Former Baylor receiver and WVU commit Jaylen Ellis announced his intentions to decommit from the Mountaineers earlier this evening. While this was a shock to many, it now appears that Ellis had something in the world behind the scenes.

Moments ago, Ellis committed to Colorado to play for Deion Sanders.

The Mountaineers will now likely be looking in the portal for his replacement going into fall camp.

Ellis finished the 2022 season with 3 receptions.
