Garrett Greene Receives High Praise

Morgantown, WV – The Garrett Greene hype train is on go-mode. College Football fans from all across the nation are beginning to take notice to the talent of the Tallahassee, Florida native, adding to the intrigue of where his career will go next.

Earlier today, Brad Crawford of CBS Sports revealed his “Top 12 Most Dynamic Athletes At QB in 2024,” and Greene found himself very high in the ranking.

Crawford had Greene ranked third, behind only Jalen Milroe of Alabama, and Kaidon Salter of Liberty.

Greene finished the 2023 season passing for 2,406 yards and 16 touchdowns to only 4 interceptions. He also tallied 772 rushing yards and 13 scores on the ground.

If his trajectory remains the same heading into 2024, there is reason to believe that Greene can be in the conversation as one of the best players in the nation. While it may be too lofty to claim Heisman contention, anything is possible in the world of College Football.

Greene and the Mountaineers will have their first chance to make their mark in the season opener. WVU and Penn State are scheduled to play on August 31st at Mountaineer Field. No kickoff time or network has been announced yet.
