Garrett Greene to Play Early Today

Morgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago on Tony Caridi’s pre-game show with the head coach, Neal Brown was asked about the playing time of his redshirt freshman backup quarterback and Brown have very good news to Mountaineer Nation.

”He’s going to play.  I’m not exactly sure how much yet, but he’s going to play.  We want to get him in early and see how he does.”

Brown also said that he thinks redshirt senior Jarret Doege is ready to have a great game.

”Everyone remembers the bad interception he threw against Maryland,” Neal Brown said of his starter.  “But it’s easy to forget all of the good things he’s done.  I think he’s going to have great game this afternoon.”
