Arguably the best quarterback in Mountaineer Football history, Geno Smith, is making a name for himself at the NFL level. Following a ten-year stint that saw him mostly used in a backup role, Smith got his first real opportunity as a starting quarterback for the Seahawks this season.

He hasn’t only done a stellar job in the position, he has taken it and ran for the mountain tops with it.

Many are bringing his name up in MVP discussions, and he seems to be a shoe-in for Comeback Player of the Year. However, he has already notched on feat under his belt…

His first Pro Bowl selection.

Smith joins Jalen Hurts and Kirk Cousins on the NFC side of things.

On the season, Smith has completed 70.3% of his passes for 2,938 yards and 26 touchdowns to 8 interceptions. He is among the best quarterbacks in the league statistically.

Smith and the Seahawks (7-7) take on the Kansas City Chiefs (10-4) this Saturday at 1 p.m. on Fox.
