Morgantown, West Virginia – West Virginia is scheduled to play the #1 ranked Gonzaga Bulldogs on Wednesday, December 2nd in the Jimmy V Classic in Indianapolis.
West Virginia recently replaced Tennessee in order to play the top team in the nation. However, it appears that the game might not happen now.
Gonzaga has positive tests on their team and Head Coach Mark Few was seen coughing multiple times during Gonzaga’s win over Auburn on Friday.
While nothing is certain, it appears that there is a very good chance that the game will be cancelled, or Jimmy V Classic organizers will be forced to find another opponent for the Mountaineers on very short notice.
Stay tuned to The Voice of Motown for more information on this developing story as it becomes available.
From what I’m hearing, it is looking more and more likely we won’t see @WVUhoops match up with #1 @ZagMBB… positive tests within the team and Mark Few caught coughing his lungs up on the bench against Auburn yesterday….interesting
