MORGANTOWN, WV – It’s been a long time since the Mountaineers had gotten the best of the Penn State Nittany Lions, and it’s no surprise that the No. 7 ranked Nittany Lions are right at 20-point favorites over the Mountaineers.
The last time the Mountaineers defeated Penn State was in 1988 when they won 51-30.
Thus meaning the experts are giving the Neal Brown led Mountaineers zero chance for an upset over the Nittany Lions.
Well, that is except for WVU punter Pat McAfee who on GameDay over the weekend said that the Mountaineers, who are led by Garrett Greene would ‘run wild’ over Penn State.

The two programs meet on Saturday after not playing each other since 1992 in a game where the Nittany Lions defeated WVU, 40-26.
The last time WVU went to Penn State was in 1991 where Penn State defeated the Mountaineers, 51-6.
The four game winning streak for Penn State over WVU:
1989 – PSU 19, WVU 9
1990 – PSU 31, WVU 19
1991 – PSU 51, WVU 6
1992 – PSU 40, WVU 26
Penn State has outscored WVU 141-60 last four games.
WVU could possibly win this game. But they won’t.
Penn State also won’t cover the spread.
Prediction: PSU 28, WVU 24
