Gregory Genross Commits to West Virginia

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — Earlier today, the West Virginia Mountaineers added JUCO All-American tight end Gregory Genross!

Genross, a 6’7 230 pound junior, played at Dodge City Community College over the last two

seasons, where he’s had 26 receptions for 265 yards and 3 touchdowns. Genross is a

former Arkansas commit, who also held offers from Mississippi State, Colorado, Houston,

New Mexico State, USF and several others.

In his commitment post on social media today, Genross said, “A dream is worth nothing if

you leave it on a pillow.”

The Bronx, New York native, is considered the #1 ranked JUCO tight end in the nation, per

247 Sports, and was a three star recruit out of high school. Genross will have two full years

of eligibility remaining and will join Kole Taylor and Treylan Davis in the tight end room.
