Columbus, Ohio – Moments ago, the Marshall Alumni team called “Herd That” lost in the Quarterfinals to the #2 ranked team “Overseas Elite” in the TBT.
Although Herd That was able to keep the game relatively close in the 1st half, Overseas Elite pulled away and won in the Elam Ending by a score of 93-76. Former NBA player Joe “Iso Joe” Johnson led Overseas Elite with 35 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in a dominating performance.

Unfortunately, the TBT is a single elimination tournament and so Herd That’s magical run is officially over for this season. Herd That previously beat the 10th ranked Peoria All-Stars (the replacement team for Best Virginia after several players contracted COVID-19) and the #7 ranked “The Money Team” in the 2nd round.
