Former WVU star point guard and member of the 2010 Final Four team, Joe Mazzulla, has officially been named the PERMANENT Head Coach of the Boston Celtics.
The organization announced the decision earlier this morning.

Mazzulla was previously the head men’s basketball coach at Fairmont State University.
He replaced Ime Udoka who was suspended prior to the 2022-23 season. The promotion also comes with a contract extension for Mazzulla.
The Celtics currently have the best record in the NBA at 42-17.
