Morgantown, West Virginia – Bob Huggins, who was recently named the Chair of the NCAA Rules Committee, has been hard at work recruiting in the offseason recruiting players to fill the holes left by Derek Culver, Emmitt Matthews, Jr. and Jordan McCabe.

Huggins added transfer forwards Pauly Paulicap and Dimon Carrigan, as well as point guard Malik Curry.  However, he isn’t done yet.

According to Stockrisers.com, West Virginia is pursuing one of the top recruits in the 2022 class.

Kaleb Glenn, a four star top 50 high school sophomore from Louisville, Kentucky, is being heavily recruited by multiple programs, including West Virginia University.  In fact, Bob Huggins and his coaching staff have made Glenn a priority.

“Louisville, West Virginia, and Indiana,  are the schools I hear from the most,” Glenn told Stockrisers.

Glenn, a multi-dimensional scorer who averaged 12.6 rebounds per game this past season, said he’s very familiar with the West Virginia basketball program and Bob Huggins.

“West Virginia got in on me really early and I hear from them all the time. Bob Huggins is a Hall of Fame coach, he knows how to win at a high level every year. He’s built a great program over there. He thinks I’ll fit in their system perfectly.”

Glenn now has an unofficial visit planned today in Morgantown, where he plans to meet with the coaches and players.

Typically, when Huggins can get players in Morgantown to see the incredible practice facilities and campus, he has a great chance at making them Mountaineers.

Kaleb Glenn would be a monster get for the Mountaineers!
