Huggins Offers In-State Teammates

Morgantown, West Virginia – West Virginia Head Coach Bob Huggins extended scholarship offers to two in-state recruits today. Jerome Beya, a 6’9 center, and Josiah Davis, a 6’3 point guard, are both in the 2022 class and  teammates at Teays Valley Christian School in Scott Depot, West Virginia.

Beya is currently a three star prospect and is originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.  Although a bit raw, he is physically impressive with long arms and has tremendous upside. He currently holds offers from Illinois, Xavier, Kansas State, Robert Morris, NC State, Wake Forest, Oregon, Temple, Virginia Tech, South Florida, Bryant and Stetson.

Josiah Davis, Beya’s teammate at Teays Valley Christian Prep, is originally from Kitchener, Canada, and has flown under the recruiting radar so far.  Currently listed as a 2 star on Verbal Commits, Davis caught the attention of Bob Huggins, who has taken under-the-radar recruits and turned them into outstanding college players.

Davis posted the following message on social media today:  “After a great conversation with coach Bob Huggins, I’m blessed to receive an offer from West Virginia University.”
