Huggins to be Named Chairman of the Men’s Basketball Rules Committee

Morgantown, West Virginia – According to multiple reports, West Virginia head coach Bob Huggins will be named the Chairman of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Rules Committee for the 2021-2022 season.

Mitch Barnhart, director of athletics at Kentucky, was the Chairman of the Men’s Basketball Rules Committee last season.

Huggins has been very outspoken about rules and the changes that he would like to see happen in college basketball, and he will now have the power to make real change happen.

The general duties of the committee are to stay in touch with rules issues during the season and to compare ideas and gauge opinions on potential rules changes with colleagues.

With his vast experience and knowledge of the game, Huggins is an outstanding choice and will be a fantastic Chairman!
