Impact Starter Seen With Cast on Arm in Photo Last Night

Morgantown, West Virginia – Presumed starting offensive lineman Doug Nester was photographed with a cast on his right arm at the team’s positional coaches dinner last night.

Nester, a 6’6 300 pound former four star recruit, is a transfer from Virginia Tech, was a two-year starter with the Hokies and graduated from Spring Valley High School in West Virginia.

It’s unclear how long or if he will be out of action, but losing him would be a huge issue for the Mountaineers.  Nester was expected to start on West Virginia’s offensive line, which Neal Brown has recently said is finally developing depth.

West Virginia University has not released a statement on his injury but it is certainly something to keep a close eye on.
