Is JT Daniels Playing Hurt?

Following a 31-14 loss to Iowa State, the health status of J.T. Daniels was brought into question. The Georgia transfer finished the game completing 8 of 22 passes for 81 yards and one touchdown to one interception. Something about the talented 5-star just seemed off.

While the questioning was certainly warranted, Daniels is not battling any injuries. This comes straight from MetroNews and Tony Caridi, who spoke on the matter last night.

According to Caridi, there has been no discussions of an injury to Daniels, “publicly or privately.” It appears that Saturday just simply wasn’t his day.

Brown named Daniels starter for the Oklahoma game during his Tuesday press conference, stating that he “earned” the job.

Daniels and West Virginia take on the Sooners in Morgantown this Saturday. Kickoff is set for noon and the game will televise on Fox Sports 1.
