McKneely, from Poca, West Virginia, recently narrowed his choices down to Kentucky, Illinois, Purdue, Louisville, North Carolina, Indiana, Virginia, and West Virginia, but Virginia and West Virginia were the two heavy favorites to land him.
A 6’4 combo guard, McKneely has been rising up the recruiting rankings and is expected to have a tremendous collegiate career.
