Morgantown, WV – Following the departure of Chad Scott, fans started to speculate on potential transfers out of the running back room. Everyone’s eyes immediately turned to Jahiem White and whether or not he would remain with WVU considering his close relationship with Scott.
Today, White has seemingly put that speculation to bed.
In a post on X, White pledged that he and the team will “respond.”
The response is to go harder and be better. So let’s respond…@WVUfootball pic.twitter.com/Neao9VNMGG

With Rich Rodriguez’s speed option offense, White has the potential to leave his mark on the program. His speed and skill set makes him the perfect fit to have a successful stint under Rodriguez. White’s presence could provide the needed spark for the Mountaineers to compete in the Big 12 in 2025.
White has accumulated 1,686 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns in two seasons.
