Morgantown, West Virginia – Former West Virginia forward Jalen Bridges announced yesterday that he was leaving the Mountaineers and entering the transfer portal.

Since then, his phone has been ringing off the hook. Bridges, who averaged 8.4 points and 4.8 rebounds a game last season, has been contacted by several schools hoping to land the talented sophomore.

Bridges has already heard from the following schools, according to National Basketball Analyst, Travis Branham: Arkansas, Wake Forest, Ohio State, NC State, Texas A&M, Michigan State, Kansas State, DePaul, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Pitt, Minnesota, South Florida, San Diego State and Loyola.

Bridges had 35 scholarship offers out of high school, but chose to stay home and play for the Mountaineers. Now, Bridges will have another long list of colleges to chose from.
