Jalen Bridges Isn’t Going Anywhere

Morgantown, West Virginia – Earlier today, Jordan McCabe entered the transfer portal and Sean McNeil decided to enter his name into the 2021 NBA Draft with the possibility of returning to college next season, so when redshirt freshman sensation Jalen Bridges posted a cryptic message on social media this afternoon, it started a firestorm of questions and concerns from West Virginia fans.

Bridges’ simple thinking emoji raised eyebrows because although it could mean literally anything, the most obvious possibility would be that he was considering a departure from West Virginia University next.

Several fans immediately went into panic mode and begged him not to leave before Bridges clarified his message by saying, “I’m not going anywhere.  Just thinking about the off season.”

Bridges, who averaged 5.9 points and 3.6 rebounds per game, has an incredible future with the Mountaineers and has the ability to be a breakout star next season.

Considered one of the top NBA prospects on the West Virginia roster, Bridges could consider entering his name in the NBA Draft like McNeil to be evaluated by professional scouts and then ultimately return to college.

Bridges is a West Virginia kid who wants to win a national championship for the Mountaineers more than anything, so don’t expect him to go anywhere anytime soon.
