Jalen Bridges Mocks West Virginia Fans

Morgantown, West Virginia – Fairmont, West Virginia native and former West Virginia forward Jalen Bridges made his return to the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown last night with his new team, the Baylor Bears.

Baylor defeated the Mountaineers 83-78 and Bridges had a double-double, finishing with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Following the game, Bridges took to social media to boast and rub the victory in the face of West Virginia fans. On his Instagram account, Bridges posted a picture of the WVU Coliseum with John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads…” with a “W” and the emoji of a person (seemingly Bridges himself) laughing so hard that he’s crying. Bridges also posted the following message on Twitter: “Take me homeeeeee”, which indicated that he was singing Denver’s song in celebration of his team’s victory. In addition, Bridges changed his social media profile pictures to the one that the Mountaineer Maniacs created saying that Bridges was “WANTED: For Being a Traitor.”

Bridges is averaging 8.9 points, 5.2 rebounds per game while shooting 21.6% from three point range this season.
