Morgantown, West Virginia – Following West Virginia’s painful 79-67 loss to the #9 ranked Baylor Bears, former Mountaineers forward Jalen Bridges took a shot at his former team.
Bridges, who finished the game with 12 points (3-9 from the field), 1 rebound, 1 assist and 1 steal, posted a meme of SpongeBob SquarePants sweeping up the floor with a broom and dust pan. Bridges, of course, is referring to Baylor’s sweep of West Virginia this season. In addition to last night’s win, Baylor also defeated the Mountaineers 83-78 in Morgantown on January 11th.
Bridges, a native of Fairmont, West Virginia, spent two seasons with the Mountaineers before entering the transfer portal and enrolling at Baylor. At Baylor, Bridges is averaging 9.7 points and 5.8 rebounds per game in his first season with the Bears.
