Jarret Doege has been a hot topic of conversation in College Football this week. Many outlets have pegged him as a breakout player in 2020, and PFF even included him on their Heisman Watch list.
One College Football analyst, however, gave what should be considered the ultimate praise to the signal-caller.
If you're looking for the next Joe Burrow look no further than Jarret Doege who, after putting up a a measly 71.5 passing grade at Bowling Green in 2017 and 2018, has become obscene at West Virginia. His passing grade is 90.2 since he became a Mountaineer.https://t.co/2Ln8rFHaRo

Seth Galina of Pro Football Focus would refer to Doege as “the next Joe Burrow.” After breaking down his game against Eastern Kentucky, referencing his skill of moving defenders with his eyes and shoulders, Galina would claim Doege is on the rise.
Galina would also add Doege’s quarterback grades during his career – 71.5 at BGSU and 90.2 at WVU.
Could Mountaineer Nation have the next College Football breakout phenomenon on their hands? Only time will tell – but it is certainly nice to think so.
