The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award is given to the best offensive player in Division I College Football annually, and also takes into consideration specific characteristics of those considered. This season, eleven Big 12 players have found themselves on the watch list for the award, and one of them just happens to be a Mountaineer.

According to the Big 12, WVU quarterback Jarret Doege has made the watch list for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award. Last season, the redshirt junior came on strong in the last quarter of the season, providing a significant spark for the Mountaineer offense.
Though he has not officially won the starting job for the Mountaineers, he is expected to eventually, and could potentially be one of the best signal-callers in the conference.
Also included in the Big 12 portion of the watch list is Charlie Brewer of Baylor, Sam Ehlinger of Texas, and Tylan Wallace of Oklahoma State among others.
