Jarret Doege Named to a Heisman Watch List

The accolades keep coming for WVU quarterback Jarret Doege after a solid week two performance. This time, he has received quite the honorable recognition.

Pro Football Focus released their “Heisman favorites after week two,” and Doege found himself slotted in the fifth spot on the list. The Bowling Green transfer had a solid outing against Eastern Kentucky — finishing 19-for-25 passing while adding 228 passing yards and three passing touchdowns. PFF graded Doege as the second best signal-caller of week two in the entire nation, tied with Spencer Rattler of Oklahoma. He was given a grade of 93.7.

It is still very early, but if Doege can continue to piece together performances similar to Saturday’s, he will only continue to be noticed in the national spotlight.
