QB1 Jarett Doege has gotten an immense amount of credit from his coaching staff this offseason. Last season, we saw glimmers of how truly good Jarret Doege can be as a quarterback. But he hasn’t quite broken out. This season, that will change. Jarret Doege will be a completely different player.

WVU QB Coach Sean Reagan had some very encouraging words on Doege’s offseason. He says he has done everything he can and has done it well. “He will be ready to play.”

Doege reflected on last years bowl win when he was benched for now La. Tech QB Austin Kendall: “I wanted to come back, but I didn’t want to feel sorry for myself.” “I thought I worked hard last year, but this year I put it into a whole other perspective.” Offensive Coordinator Gerad Parker also had tremendous praise for Doege: “I’m proud as hell of him.”

This season, we will see an improved Jarett Doege and he will have a career season.
