Morgantown, West Virginia – Jarrod West said he wanted to win a conference and national championship, so he decided to transfer to Louisville.
West, the former Marshall point guard who averaged 12.5 points and 2.5 steals per game for the Thundering Herd last season, chose Louisville over Pitt and Ohio State.
West Virginia also reached out to West, but apparently he thinks that Louisville gives him a better chance at winning championships. This, of course, is laughable. Louisville finished the 2020-2021 season 13-7 overall and 8-5 in the ACC.
Best of luck winning those championships, Jarrod.
