Jasir Cox Makes Decision on Future

North Dakota State transfer linebacker Jasir Cox quickly became a key asset for the Mountaineer defense in 2022. The talented Missouri native finished the campaign with 62 tackles, 6 TFLs, 3 passes defended, and 2 fumble recoveries including one for a touchdown against Baylor.

Today, Cox officially made his decision on his future. He will be entering his name into the 2023 NFL Draft and testing the professional waters.

Cox if the third Mountaineer to announce his intentions to join the draft. He follows Bryce Ford-Wheaton and Sam James, who both declared for the draft in the weeks prior.
