Jay Jacobs to Retire

Longtime WVU Broadcaster Jay Jacobs is set to retire after 50 years.

Morgantown, WV – According to a press release from West Virginia University, Men’s Basketball Broadcaster Jay Jacobs is set to retire after 50 years behind the microphone.

 

Jacobs, who has been a part of WVU’s broadcasting team since 1977, will call his final game on December 1st when the Mountaineers welcome St. John’s to Morgantown.
