Jayhawks beat Mountaineers

The #14 ranked West Virginia Mountaineers, now 18-6 and 6-5 in Big 12 Conference play,  were defeated by the 3rd ranked Kansas Jayhawks, 21-3 and 10-1, by a score of 58-49.

The Mountaineers were led by Oscar Tshiebwe, who had 14 points and 7 rebounds.  Jordan McCabe added 10 points and 5 assists.

Kansas had a very balance attack and was paced by Moss (13 points), Dotson (11 points), Garrett (9 points) and Agbaji (9 points).

West Virginia will now travel to Waco, Texas to play the #1 ranked Baylor Bears on Saturday, February 15th at 4:00.  The game will be televised on ESPN+.
