Jevon Carter Explains His “Treadmill Mentality”

Morgantown, West Virginia – Jevon Carter has been on fire lately for the Phoenix Suns in the NBA.

Carter has scored 32 points while shooting 10-22 from three point range in the last three games.  Following last night’s win against the Miami Heat, Carter wore a “Treadmill Mentality” shirt and a reporter asked him the meaning behind it.

Carter replied, “Treadmill Mentality, baby.  Never stop.  Simple as that.  Never stop, keep going.”

When asked for a further explanation, Carter said, “We all have down days, we all have high days, but no matter what, I just keep going.  Tomorrow, everything could be totally different.  The past is the past, and you just have to keep it going.  Always give 110%, always give your maximum effort and don’t stop.”

Carter is in his third year in the NBA and is currently averaging 3.3 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game while providing ferocious defense off the bench for the Suns.

Keep up the great work, Jevon!  You continue to make the state of West Virginia proud!
