Jevon Carter Has Been Traded

Morgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago, it was announced that former West Virginia Mountaineers guard Jevon Carter has been traded from the Phoenix Suns to the Brooklyn Nets!

The Nets will receive Carter and the Suns 1st round pick in tonight’s 2021 NBA Draft in exchange got Landry Shamet.

This will be Carter’s third team since arriving in the NBA and it will be an outstanding for him to back up one of the best guards in the league, Kyrie Irving.

Carter has shown that he is capable of being a valuable contributor for an NBA team.  In the final regular season game of the season, Carter finished with 19 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists in 43 minutes in a 123-121 victory over the San Antonio Spurs while the Suns’ starters rested for the playoffs.
