Morgantown, West Virginia – On Friday night in the Phoenix Suns’ 128-105 victory over the New York Knicks, former West Virginia star Jevon Carter hit an absolutely incredible three-point shot to beat the shot clock.

The shot, immediately dubbed the “rainbow connection” by the announcer, was well beyond the three-point line, which measures 23 feet and 9 inches from the basket.  Carter finished with just 3 points on 1-3 from the field in 9 minutes of action.

Check out the incredible shot below:

Last night, Carter hit another buzzer-beater against the Los Angeles Lakers in the second quarter of action. Carter finished the night with 3 points on 1-1 from 3 point range in the 123-110 loss to the Lakers.

The Suns are currently in second place in the NBA western conference and Carter is providing key minutes for the team off the bench.
