Morgantown, West Virginia – On Friday night in the Phoenix Suns’ 128-105 victory over the New York Knicks, former West Virginia star Jevon Carter hit an absolutely incredible three-point shot to beat the shot clock.
The shot, immediately dubbed the “rainbow connection” by the announcer, was well beyond the three-point line, which measures 23 feet and 9 inches from the basket. Carter finished with just 3 points on 1-3 from the field in 9 minutes of action.
