Jevon Carter Makes Brooklyn Nets Debut TONIGHT

Morgantown, West Virginia – Tonight, former West Virginia Mountaineers star guard Jevon Carter will make his debut with the Brooklyn Nets!  The Nets will play their season opener on the road against the world champion Milwaukee Bucks in the first game of the NBA season.

With Nets’ superstar point guard Kyrie Irving unable to play due to COVID restrictions, it’s very likely that Carter will see significant playing time tonight.

Jevon Carter was traded in the offseason from the Phoenix Suns to the Brooklyn Nets.  The Nets received Carter and a 1st round pick in exchange for Landry Shamet.

Carter, who averaged 4.1 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists for the Suns last season, will now play for his third team since being drafted in the 2018 NBA Draft.

The game starts at 7:30PM and will be shown live on TNT.
