Morgantown, West Virginia – Jevon Carter is not only one of the greatest players in West Virginia basketball history and on his way to an NBA Championship ring in his third season as a professional, he’s also very prophetic, predicting before the season that his Phoenix Suns were going to win the title this year!
Carter, who averaged 4.1 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game for the Suns this season, spoke with a Phoenix-area reporter during the preseason who asked him, “What is this team’s potential and how far can they go, realistically?”
Carter smirked and replied, “Realistically, champions.”
