Morgantown, West Virginia – There’s no place like home and Morgantown, West Virginia is home to Jevon Carter.  Carter, the former West Virginia basketball player and current free agent in the NBA, has returned home.

Carter is back in town and has been practicing with the current West Virginia basketball team.  Assistant Coach Erik Martin posted a message on social media that read “WVU Past, Present and Future” with a picture of Juwan Staten (who is now a graduate assistant), himself and Carter, as well as current Mountaineers Jordan McCabe and Miles McBride.

Carter posted a picture of the WVU Coliseum on his personal Instagram account with a message that read “Just a little place to call home.”  And later, posted a message of himself with the message “Best decision I ever made was committing to WVU.”

Jevon Carter is a West Virginia LEGEND.  Very few players in Mountaineer history have represented West Virginia University like he has after leaving Morgantown.  Although he has moved on to bigger and better things, it’s obvious that his heart belongs in West Virginia.
