Jevon Carter Sees Playoff Minutes Against the Los Angeles Lakers

Morgantown, West Virginia – After not playing in the first four games of the 2021 NBA Playoffs series against the Los Angeles Lakers, former West Virginia Mountaineers guard Jevon Carter finally saw minutes in last night’s game for the Phoenix Suns.

The Suns dominated the Lakers, winning 115-85 and taking a 3-2 lead in the series.

However, Jevon Carter did not have his best night.  Carter finished the game with 0 points on 0-3 shooting and 0-2 from the foul line in 8 minutes off the bench for the Suns.

Carter averaged 4.1 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game in the regular season, but is seen as poor matchup against the Lakers by the Suns’ coaching staff and that’s why his minutes have been limited.

With this said, the Suns are one game away from defeating the defending world champions and have a real chance to compete for the NBA Championship this season, and Jevon Carter will no doubt be more of a factor in future games in the playoffs!
