Jevon Carter Shines Against LA Lakers

Phoenix, Arizona – The Phoenix Suns lost to the world champion Los Angeles Lakers and dropped to 0-3 this preseason, but former West Virginia star Jevon Carter had his most productive game of the preseason so far.

Carter finished the game with 15 points on 3-8 from three point range and 2-2 from the foul line.  Carter added 2 rebounds and 2 assists in 26 minutes of play.

In addition, Carter hit a buzzer-beater to end the 3rd quarter:

Carter will be relied on to play big minutes this season as the backup point guard behind newly-acquired Chris Paul.  The Suns have one more preseason game left against the Lakers and then open the regular season next Wednesday, December 23rd against the Dallas Mavericks.
