Jim Justice Reiterates September 8th Re-Opening for Schools

Today, Jim Justice had yet another COVID-19 press briefing in Charleston. One of the biggest topics on the agenda today was that of the reopening of schools in West Virginia.

Justice would reiterate that the September 8th reopening date that was set earlier is still the plan. However, he would continue to state that schools may have to close down if the area experiences a significant outbreak.

The biggest reveal of today is that free WiFi sites will now be available in over 1,000 areas across West Virginia for students who decide to do the all-virtual option.

According to the CDC, West Virginia sits at 7,159 total COVID-19 cases and 124 deaths.
