Morgantown, West Virginia – According to Jon Rothstein, West Virginia guard Joe Toussaint has decided to use his additional year of eligibility and return to play for the Mountaineers next season.

Toussaint, a 6’0 guard from Bronx, New York, averaged 9.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game off the bench in his first season with the Mountaineers last year. Toussaint previously played for the Iowa Hawkeyes for three seasons.

With Kedrian Johnson and Erik Stevenson graduating, Toussaint will compete for a role as a starter in West Virginia’s backcourt next season.
