Gabe Osabuohien, a junior forward for the West Virginia Mountaineers, announced on his social media accounts moments ago that he will participate in a peaceful protest against the murder of George Floyd and the countless other cases of police brutality around the country.

Osabuohien will be joined by West Virginia teammates Oscar Tshiebwe, Taz Sherman and Jalen Bridges.  In his message on social media, Osabuohien said, “Please join me and my teammates as we come together to march tomorrow at 10AM at the Morgantown Courthouse for #blacklivesmatter.

Racism has no place in this country.  Justice is a right, not a privilege.  Join us by taking action.”
