JUCO tackle commits to WVU

West Virginia nabbed a second offensive lineman commitment in as many days.

Tairiq Stewart, a junior College tackle from ASA College announced Monday that he will sign with the Mountaineers. Stewart is ranked as the 28th best junior college prospect nationally. Maryland high school prospect Jordan White announced Sunday he was signing with West Virginia.

The Cleveland native is a 6-foot-6, 330 pound three-star recruit who had interest from, among others, Tennessee, Florida International, Maryland, Auburn, Mississippi and Penn State.

Stewart is slated to graduate in May and has two years of eligibility remaining. He is the fifth offensive lineman in the WVU 2020 class. The others include White, Chris Mayo (Hightstown, N.J.), Zach Frazier (Fairmont) and Jacob Gamble (Iowa Western Community College).
