Keith Washington’s West Virginia Career Comes to an End

Keith Washington, the redshirt senior cornerback, has entered the locker room during the first half of the final game of the season against TCU.  Washington was injured and will undergo the concussion protocol.

Washington, a two-year starter at the cornerback position, was a All-Big 12 Honorable Mention defensive back last season and finishes his West Virginia career with 6 interceptions and 61 tackles and 17 pass breakups.

Although this is a terrible way to end his career for West Virginia, he has been an outstanding member of the Mountaineers and hopefully has an opportunity to play professionally.

Thank you for all that you’ve done for the Mountaineers and get well soon, Keith!
