Morgantown, West Virginia – Kevin Pittsnogle is one of the greatest, most accomplished players in the history of West Virginia basketball. Pittsnogle finished his career at WVU second in school history in 3 point field goals, second all-time in 3 point percentage and 8th all-time in West Virginia history with 1,708 points.
This is going to make you feel really, really old! Earlier today, Kwynsie Pittsnogle, the son of the WVU legend, announced where he will continue his basketball career in college! Pittsnogle, a 6´10 senior who played this season for 212 Sports Academy in Sarasota, Florida, posted the following message on his personal social media account today: ¨After a lot of consideration and talking wtih my family, I am proud to officially announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Lees-McRae College. This opportunity is a dream come true, and Í´m incredibly grateful for the opportunity.”

His father, who is now the school principal at Martinsburg North Middle School, shared how proud he was of his son: ¨Good luck to you son. Go out there with a chip on your shoulder and something to prove. For all those that walked away when they had the chance, make them regret it. You keep growing and working hard and many will look back and wish they made different decisions.¨

Kwynsie is considered a high IQ player who can space the floor with his ability to shoot the three, like his father. It´s unclear at this time if West Virginia was involved in any way in recruiting Pittsnogle, but it will be interesting to follow his career at Lees-McRae College.
Check out Kwynsie Pittsnogle´s highlights below. He certainly looks an awful lot like his father on and off the court!
