LEAK: West Virginia Accidentally Releases Starting Quarterback

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — Neal Brown has remained mum about the quarterback situation at West Virginia all offseason, but it appears that a picture posted on the official West Virginia Football social media accounts has revealed who the starter will be when the Mountaineers take the field at Happy Valley tonight!

The photo was taken inside the West Virginia locker room inside Beaver Stadium and it shows the Mountaineers’ jerseys and helmets lined up. The first is, of course, the equipment of presumed starting quarterback Garrett Greene. The next one is Nicco Marchiol, the expected backup, and the third is freshman quarterback Sean Boyle. This seems to be the first official indication that Greene will be the starter, although it has been assumed for weeks.
