Leddie Brown had himself a day on Saturday. The junior running back finished with 156 yards on 24 carries, and had several big runs. However, while his yardage total was impressive, what may have been even more spectacular was his yards after initial contact.

According to Pro Football Focus, Brown had the second most yards after contact in the nation against TCU during week eleven. The Philadelphia native ran for 105 yards after making making contact with a Horned Frog. A pretty solid day at the office against a sound Gary Patterson defense.

The Mountaineers will have a week off before welcoming the Oklahoma Sooners to town. Leddie Brown has two more regular season games, as well as the team’s bowl game, and only needs 103 more yards to eclipse 1,000 on the season.

Brown has been an absolute workhorse all season, and he is setting up for a terrific finish to 2020.
