Former Ohio State guard Luther Muhammad, who entered the transfer portal last week, recently cut his final eight teams to Seton Hall, Arizona State, Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, New Mexico, UCLA and West Virginia.

Today, he cut it down to Seton Hall, Arizona State, New Mexico, UCLA and West Virginia.

In essence, he dropped Auburn, Alabama and Georgia from his previous list of eight.

Muhammad, who averaged 7.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists during his sophomore season, was a four star recruit out of high school.

Muhammad told me that he will make his final decision early next week.
