West Virginia University is faced with a major task this week. With the Mountaineer Football team sitting at 3-6 and 1-5 in Big 12 play, rumors are circulating that Neal Brown’s seat is scorching hot.
Marc Bulger, the former WVU quarterback, spoke out about the situation and Neal Brown this morning on Twitter.
B***h and moan or show support and rally when it’s needed most. I’m choosing the latter for the players AND staff. Grass isn’t always greener on other side. Not hyperbole either. Let’s go Mountaineers!!

“B***h and moan or show support and rally when it’s needed most. I’m choosing the latter for the players AND staff. Grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Not hyperbole either. Let’s go Mountaineers!”
From the sounds of it, Bulger is in favor of at least keeping Neal Brown throughout the remainder of the season. When dissecting his statement, it also appears that Bulger believes that things could get even worse should they depart from Brown.
I’m not really sure how things can get worse than last place in the Big 12, though. The Mountaineers are now in sole possession of last place after falling to Iowa State 31-14 on Saturday.
I can see where Bulger is coming from, but let’s be honest, it’s time to move on. We will not know if the grass is greener until we make the move.
