Today, during the Big 12 teleconference, Oklahoma State Mike Gundy gave an update on starting quarterback Spencer Sanders.
During the Cowboys’ matchup against Tulsa, Sanders left during the first quarter with an apparent ankle injury. According to Gundy, Sanders will be “out of his boot by Tuesday.” The team will then re-evaluate. Gundy believes Sanders will “be ok.”
However, he would add “you never know,” implying that there is a possibility Sanders could miss this week’s matchup against WVU.
