Miles McBride Has Entered the COVID Health and Safety Protocols

Morgantown, West Virginia – Moments ago, it was announced that former West Virginia Mountaineers point guard Miles “Deuce” McBride is listed as out tonight for the New York Knicks’ game against the Boston Celtics and has been placed in the COVID Health and Safety Protocols.

McBride scored a career high 15 points and had 9 assists in the Knicks’ 116-103 win over the Houston Rockets two nights ago.

McBride joins five other Knicks’ players – Immanuel Quickley, Obi Toppin, RJ Barrett, Kevin Knox and Quentin Grimes – in the COVID protocols. This is an unfortunate turn of events for McBride, who was finally getting real minutes in the Knicks’ rotation.

Players in the Health and Safety Protocols must be sidelined at least 10 days or record two negative COVID-19 tests in a 24-hour period before they can resume basketball activities.
